Circles

While circling time, we circled points, at once
A cyclic threat, and cyclic calming hope
Wile cycling time wrapped ’round our permanence,
We circled harm that cycled ’bout harm’s scope

Then, all at once, I found the key that led
Our circling future’s labyrinthine course
T’ward all the clues, whose circles we had fed
With snares that snaked within our cyclic farce

I once condemned the circles we traersed
Concerned with captive closure of your soul,
But brittle lights have proved that I had cursed
Our sep’rate needs for circles, clean and whole

And now I know that circles such as ours
Must bisect more in meaning than in hours
